Victoria Canedy, Founder and CEO

Our founder and CEO has worked in the San Diego area for more than 30 years, starting her professional career as a court reporter. She is the founder of Canedy Court Reporting, which she led for more than 15 years. As the president of Core Legal Translations, Canedy helped grow the California-based language services business to serve clients nationwide. Today, she is leading the exponential growth of Arriva Translations, as the company expands from serving the Southern California market to supporting clients nationwide. An avid traveler, Canedy is fascinated by cultures, customs, and cuisines around the world. Closer to home, she is grateful for her three adult children, dogs, and friends who enrich her life here in San Diego. She earned a M.S. in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.

Jansen Trojacek, Operations Manager

The one keeping our 5,000-person strong team connected and on task, Trojacek worked previously as an office manager and administrative assistant. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with an English degree. Jansen lives in Dallas with two doodles, Marley and Milo, and loves traveling, being outside, Mexican food, and winning board games.

Liz Smith, Scheduling Coordinator

Liz Smith is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. Her many years of customer service and administrative experience make her a whiz at scheduling the right interpreters to ensure that each assignment at Arriva Translations is handled with care. Liz is the team’s social butterfly and loves to make a connection with every phone call and email. Liz enjoys yoga, gardening, and making new friends when not at work. She lives on a small ranch and loves the opportunity it allows her to spend time with her family.

Jennifer Hanau, Client Development Coordinator

Jennifer heads up Arriva’s Client Relationships with over two decades of experience in the legal field.  Because of this, Jennifer knows exactly what court reporters look for in interpreters to keep each assignment running smoothly and stress-free. Jennifer graduated From Elon University with a degree in Corporate Communications. When she is not working, Jennifer stays busy with her two daughters, Reagan and Ryan. She loves attending her girls’ basketball and volleyball games, doing yoga, and working in the toddler room at her church every Sunday.

April Hayes, Calendar Team

Headquartered in Houston, April brings more than 10 years of administrative experience to the Arriva team, including working as a Senior Litigation Paralegal. During her time as a trial paralegal, April had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact that interpreters have during trials and hearings. She started her career as a Deputy District Clerk with Galveston County, and has also worked as an Executive Assistant and Litigation manager. The Texas native attended Galveston College and the University of Houston – Clear Lake. When she’s not working hard, April is a travel buff who likes to visit new places that are near the ocean, rivers, or lakes. Her favorite travel destination is Puerto Rico.
